Yes. The Vyas Valley lies inside the Inner Line, so every yatri needs an Inner Line Permit (ILP). We handle the entire process for you — you only need to share documents such as your Aadhaar card and passport-size photos. See our Inner Line Permit guide for the full checklist.

The yatra is vehicle-based — there is no long trekking — but it reaches altitudes above 4,500 m. You need basic fitness, and our itineraries include a dedicated acclimatisation day at Gunji. Travellers with heart or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor first.

May–June and September–October. The monsoon months (July–August) bring landslide risk on valley roads, and the route closes in winter.
