This variant of our Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra starts and ends at Kathgodam railway station, making it the easiest option if you are travelling from Delhi, Lucknow, or anywhere on the rail network. Overnight trains reach Kathgodam early morning and our vehicle leaves directly from the station.

The high-altitude core of the yatra is identical to our flagship itinerary: a full acclimatisation day at Gunji (3,200 m), darshan of Adi Kailash at Jolingkong (4,572 m), and the ॐ face of Om Parvat from Nabhidhang (4,340 m). The region requires an Inner Line Permit, and our team handles the process for every yatri.

We are a private tour operator based in Pithoragarh, run by Uttarakhand locals — the Vyas Valley routes are home ground for our drivers and escorts.

Frequently asked questions

Which trains work best for the Kathgodam start?

Overnight trains from Delhi (such as the Ranikhet Express) reach Kathgodam early morning, and our vehicle leaves directly from the station — you lose no day to the connection. We confirm your train timing on WhatsApp before departure.

Is the Inner Line Permit included?

Yes — fees and the full application are included. Share your Aadhaar, photos, and medical fitness certificate on WhatsApp 2–3 weeks ahead and our team handles the rest.

Does this route include the acclimatisation day?

Yes. Day 3 is a full acclimatisation day at Gunji with the Kalapani Kali temple visit — the same safety-first structure as our flagship route. We do not sell a version without it.

What vehicle is used?

Sumo or Tempo Traveller from Kathgodam to Dharchula depending on group size, then 4x4s suited to the Vyas Valley roads for the high sections.

Can senior citizens do this yatra?

Seniors regularly complete it. We ask every yatri for a medical fitness certificate, carry a pulse oximeter with the escort, and recommend travellers above 65 get a specific altitude go-ahead from their doctor before booking.
